Vivian Godoy (BA Eng)
Vivian Godoy is a Chilean Entrepreneur with a degree in English and a successful track record of more than 20 years in educational and management positions in the business, private and public sectors across national and foreign institutions.
Beginning her professional life as a Teacher in 1985, Vivian was appointed Head of a bilingual Secretary Department in 1986. Her interest to grow professionally moved her to Santiago where in 1987, while working as a full time Teacher, she started offering private lessons to national and international companies' executives on a free lance basis.
In 1996, Vivian moved from the academic world to the business sector to work as a full time Bilingual Secretary to gain experience in order to develop her own business ideas. In 2001 Vivian started her own business, TL&L, (Travel, Language and Leisure) through which she offered lessons in English and Spanish, translations from Spanish into English and vice versa, together with tourist services for foreigners in Santiago Chile.
Vivian's international work experience as a Teacher and Entrepreneur was enhanced when she moved to England in 2003
where she wrote and presented a computer skills programme for a college of further education to teach mature students computer skills. By this time Vivian had made the transition to working entirely in English.
In 2004 a move to South Africa saw Vivian working as a Consultant in a Spanish language academy. It was during this time that Vivian became involved with The Dealmaker™ programmes.
Vivian has published study programmes for bilingual Executive Secretaries and various training programmes - all in English - focused on business professionals working in the mining, airline and banking sectors in Chile.
Vivian, who now lives in Santiago Chile, runs the representative office for The Dealmaker™ programmes for Latin America. Vivian was responsible for translating The Dealmaker™ into Spanish.
