After having participated in The Dealmaker™ programme on several occasions, Holger Morhart was invited to become a member of the select global facilitating team of The Dealmaker Company. He has successfully translated the programme from English to German and has presented it to top management teams in Europe.
Holger first entered the corporate arena as an advertising photographer and shareholder in an advertising agency after emigrating from Germany to South Africa in 1994. He later progressed to become a Marketing Consultant for large corporations, focusing on business development and strategic marketing.
Throughout his career, Holger has negotiated at all levels with medium to large corporates as well as government entities. Aside from his role as a Facilitator of The Dealmaker Company programmes, Holger is the Managing Director of Plexitrade, a trading house that represents various global enterprises in southern Africa. At the same time, he consults to companies on business start-ups and strategic planning.
As a Consultant, Holger currently holds the title of General Representative Southern Africa for Evonik - one of the world's leading speciality chemicals companies. He is responsible for the organisation's PLEXIGLAS® portfolio. On behalf of Evonik, Hoger has founded a key business unit in southern Africa, and taken the operation from start-up to market leader within a mere three year period.
Holger - who holds an MBA and several degrees in marketing - has extensive experience in the advertising, logistics and chemical industries. He has worked across the globe, from Europe and the USA to Africa. His roles in the corporate world have been diverse, ranging from that of Marketing and New Business Development Manager for a global logistics company to Business Analyst for a private equity firm.
Aside to his numerous business concerns, Holger has a keen interest in classic cars and classic motorcycles.
