Kim Meredith is the Chief Executive Officer of The Dealmaker Company and creator of The Dealmaker™ suite of programmes. She is also the Managing Director of Spectrum Solutions, the largest Distributor of The Dealmaker Company's programmes. Her excellent reputation as a global dealmaker has seen her consulting to world-class companies across the globe.
In 2011, Kim was awarded the 1st for Women Business Icon & Entrepreneur Feather Award. She was also a finalist in the Businesswoman of the Year Awards held by the South African Chamber of Commerce and Industry in 2010.
Kim has held various positions of leadership in the corporate world. The most recent one was as Executive Director of Strategy for a Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE) listed Information and Communications Technologies group - a role that saw her hold one of only 179 positions on the boards of the top 300 JSE listed companies for women. She has also held the position of Chairman for a Start-up Revenue Services Internet company, and was a Director of a large UK/European SAP software implementation company.
Kim founded Spectrum Solutions in 1989 and The Dealmaker Company in 2005. The Dealmaker Company is currently one of the largest privately-owned and self-funded people development organisations in the Southern African Development Community (SADC).
Aside from her business successes, Kim has authored three books. Her first, titled Work Diva: How to Climb the Corporate Ladder Without Selling Your Soul is listed as one of the "Business Books You Should Own" by Africa's largest e-commerce platform. Her second book, Deal Diva: How to Negotiate Your Way to Success Without Selling Your Soul, was released in July 2010.
Kim's third book, The Devil in the Deal: 50 Secrets to Successful Dealmaking. was released in March 2012. This book cunningly reveals the "secrets" to successful dealmaking and ruthlessly exposes the 50 little "devils" that can break a deal. It is essential reading for anyone looking to succeed in dealmaking quickly and profitably.
