Increasing the close rates of important deals

warroomThe Dealmaker Company War Rooms provide individuals and their managers with the means to review large, complex or crucial deals in just over an hour.  Each workshop is facilitated by a senior The Dealmaker Company executive.

Suitable for deals that are reaching the close phase, the War Rooms are robust sessions. They are designed to scrutinise specific deals in order to assess whether the deal could potentially slip or be lost.

From the individual’s perspective, the War Rooms allow them to review their deals with colleagues, but without painstaking preparation and administration. The War Rooms also afford management the opportunity to get meaningful insight into the deals, for which they are ultimately answerable.

Using a team of three facilitators, The Dealmaker Company recently reviewed the “Top 40” deals for a large customer in a single day.  This exercise was done six weeks prior to the customer’s financial year end. The Dealmaker Company is widely credited for having assisted the customer to achieve budget for the year.

Programme Outcomes

By the end of the War Rooms, participants will have:

  • Systematically reviewed an important deal to determine the action items to:
    • reduce any risk around the deal; and
    • close the deal by a specific date
